Collection Irish Coast Dining

The great poverty of Ireland during the 18th century prevented country carpenters from purchasing building materials so they began to salvage timber from the bogs in "County Denegal" to Youghal in "County Cork", where it is said "Sir Walter Raleigh" sowed Ireland's first potato plant. The use of this flotsam material created a jig saw type of construction which is an artform in itself, is now authentically recreated in each piece piece of the "Irish Coast" dining collection uniquely manufactured using only reclaimed and recyled solid wood, which has been renovated and billet repaired where necessary. Each piece is bench built and hand finished to provide a totally genuine rustic charm to your dining room.
